Miroslav Klose struck a superb hat-trick to save a point for Germany following a lacklustre display against Finland. Strikes from Jonathan Johansson (32), Mika Vayrynen (43) and Daniel Sjolund (53) put Finland in the lead only to be equalized by Klose. Germany still head the group with four points from two matches.

France kept their qualification dreams alive with a convincing win over Serba. Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka scored in the second half to ensure that Raymond Domenech has more time as a coach. Domenech’s men faced some nervy moments late on after Branislav Ivanovic halved the deficit in the 75th minute but they hung on.

Spain vs Armenia Highlights: World Cup 2010 Qualifiers

Spain made it two out of two World Cup qualifying wins with a comfortable victory over Armenia in Albacete. Spain were full of confidence from Saturday’s 1-0 triumph over Bosnia-Herzegovina,  they ended this match as a contest after just 16 minutes following goals from Joan Capdevila and David Villa.Two strikes in the second half from Villa and Marcos Senna then wrapped up the win as the European champions made it 25 games without defeat and six in succession without conceding a goal
