Bayern Munich vs CFR Cluj-Napoca Highlights
Bayern Munich were lucky enough for a pair of own goals as they maintained their perfect start in Champions League Group E with victory over Cluj at the Allianz Arena. The result gave last season’s runners up a firm grip over their section, however, they struggled after falling behind to Cluj skipper Ricardo Cadu’s header after 27 minutes.
Cadu’s night turned sour soon after when he unluckily put the ball into his own net before Cristian Panin did the same six minutes later. It proved decisive on a night when Cluj otherwise matched their hosts and Mario Gomez added a third for Bayern to render Juan Emmanuel Culio’s late strike a consolation effort.
Bayern’s win moved them up to nine points and, after Basel beat Roma 3-1 in the other game in the group, gave them a six-point cushion over their rivals.

Bayern Munich vs Hannover Highlights
Mario Gomez scored a hat-trick to give injury-striken Bayern Munich a convincing home win as they returned to winning ways. Gomez, who had not scored since February, struck in the 21st, 77th and 90th minutes as Munich ended a two-game losing run.
Bayern coach Louis van Gaal came into the game with serious injury concerns, with the likes of captain Mark van Bommel, Franck Ribery, Miroslav Klose, Ivica Olic and Daniel van Buyten missing while Bastian Schweinsteiger started the game on as a substitute.
Both teams started the game with attacking football but neither could create a clear-cut chance. Bayern, however, grabbed the lead on the counter-attack in the 21st minute. Hamit Altintop’s cross from the right side was headed home by Gomez from 10 yards out just inside the right post for his first goal in more than 12 matches.
Van Gaal’s men dominated mostly in the first half, though they hardly tested Florian Fromlowitz’s goal. Gomez set up another Bayern chance in the 53rd minute as he teed up a charging Toni Kroos, whose shot was easily saved by Fromlowitz. Hannover nearly equalized in the 61st minute but Mike Hanke’s shot from more than 20 yards went just wide of the right-hand post.
Gomez scored his second goal in the 77th minute though he appeared to have handled the ball in midfield before receiving the ball in the area, twice tricking past Christian Schulz and then beating Fromlowitz. And finally the Germany striker headed home his hat-trick in the 90th minute.

Bastian Schweinsteiger struck a second-half double as Bayern Munich fought back from a goal down to beat Basle at St Jakob Park. Bayern were deservedly behind at half-time after Alexander Frei’s wonderful 18th minute strike, but the Bavarians roared back after the break.
Schweinsteiger equalised from the penalty spot 10 minutes into the second half and sealed the win two minutes from time when he turned in Holger Badstuber’s free-kick at the back post.
Victory for Bayern means they have won both of their two matches in Group E so far while for Basle it was a second successive defeat.

Bayern Munich vs Mainz Highlights: German Bundesliga
Mainz are on course to break the record for consecutive wins at the start of a Bundesliga season by defeating defending champions Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Sami Allagui put Thomas Tuchel’s side ahead in the 15th minute before an own goal from Bo Svensson canceled the lead on the stroke of half-time.
The league leaders made it six wins in a row thanks to Adam Szalai’s strike in the 77th minute, leaving Mainz just one win short of the record set by both Bayern and Kaiserslautern for most victories at the start of a top-flight campaign.
