Schalke 04 vs Benfica Highlights: Champions League
Schalke scored twice in the final 17 minutes to score their first home win of the season against Champions League Group B rivals Benfica.
The Royal Blues had looked like they would endure another frustrating evening at the AufSchalke Arena until their Peru forward Jefferson Farfan put them ahead in the 73rd minute.
Summer signing Klaas-Jan Huntelaar then added a second five minutes from the end to continue the Gelsenkirchen club’s recent revival.
Schalke are now unbeaten in their past three games in all competitions, with Huntelaar scoring in all of those, in a run which ended their horrendous five-game losing sequence.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Twente Enschede Highlights
Tottenham’s first home match in the European Cup proper for 48 years was a rollercoaster ride which rattled on as a Jekyll-and-Hyde performance from both Rafael van der Vaart and the match officials saw them beat FC Twente convincngly with a 4-1 victory.
On a night of torrential rain and high drama at White Hart Lane, Van der Vaart missed a dubious penalty, broke the deadlock and then picked up a careless red card as Spurs looked to blow a 2-0 lead for the second successive Group A game.
But referee Terje Hauge’s assistants came to the rescue of spurs with a mixture of correct and contentious spot-kick decisions, helping Harry Redknapp’s men join European champions Inter Milan on four points at the top of the table.
Van der Vaart’s 47th-minute opener was quickly followed by the second penalty of the night, perfectly executed by Roman Pavyluchenko.
Nacer Chadli then pulled a goal back for the visitors before Van der Vaart saw red but another highly controversial Pavyluchenko penalty and Gareth Bale’s late fourth got the 10 men Tottenham out of trouble.

Valencia vs Manchester United Highlights
Manchester United new recruit Javier Hernandez chose the perfect time to net his first competitive goal for the Red Devils as his 85th-minute winner proved too good for Valencia.
Although United rarely looked like improving their previous record of three successive goalless draws in Spain, Sir Alex Ferguson will not care too much as his side emerged with three crucial points.
The mere fact that Hernandez’s goal, drilled expertly into the far corner after fellow substitute Federico Macheda had cut a cross back from the right, provided United with only their second victory in 19 attempts against Spanish opposition on Spanish soil proves how hard it is.
Instead of having ground to make up in the battle to reach the knockout phase, United can now face back-to-back clashes with Group C makeweights Bursaspor knowing six points will virtually secure their place in the last 16 of this season’s Champions League.
