Manchester United vs Burnley Highlights: EPL(16.01.2009)
Manchester United claimed a much-needed win over Burnley to ease their worries on the field even if they are piling up outside Old Trafford.
Chants of “We want the Glazers out” from the Stretford End emphasized the debt mountain being carried by the Red Devils.
For a long time it looked as though it was being a burden round the players’ necks too.
But a five-minute purple patch into the second half brought Dimitar Berbatov’s seventh goal of the season and Wayne Rooney’s 17th.
And, with new-boy Mame Biram Diouf adding another near the end, United had regained a sense of superiority, even though the outcome could have been vastly different if either Steven Fletcher or David Nugent had taken golden opportunities when Brian Laws’ first game in charge was still deadlocked.

Chelsea vs Sunderland Highlights: EPL(16.01.2010)
Chelsea maintained their slender lead at the top of the Premier league by blasting sorry Sunderland for seven at Stamford Bridge.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side proved they have enough fire power without their quartet of African stars as goalstwo goals from Nicolas Anelka and lampard and one each for Florent Malouda, Ashley Cole, and Michael Ballack set the seal on a fine afternoon for the Blues.
It kept the Blues one point ahead of Manchester United at the summit of the Barclays Premier League with a game in hand on their rivals.
Sunderland managed two consolation goals through substitute Bolo Zenden and Darren Bent but Steve Bruce’s side have now failed to secure a win in their last eight league games.

Stoke City vs Liverpool Highlights: EPL (16.01.2009)
Rafael Benitez was denied a victory needed to lift the intense pressure on him when Stoke grabbed a last-ditch equalizer at the Britannia Stadium.
It was never pretty, but this much-denied Liverpool outfit stood up to be counted in a physical showdown.
And they went ahead when Greek defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos scrambled home his first goal for the club early in the second period of a bitterly contested tie.
But Stoke’s relentless aerial assault produced an equalizer from Robert Huth in the 89th minute.
It was a terrible blow for a Liverpool side facing pressure from all ends, and they were even denied a winner in injury-time when Dirk Kuyt’s diving header hit a post.
