Chelsea vs Fulham Highlights: EPL (28.12.2009)
Chelsea came from behind to spare their blushes against west London rivals Fulham and restore their lead at the Premier League summit to five points.
Zoltan Gera gave Roy Hodgson’s side a fairytale start at Stamford Bridge when he struck after just three minutes and Fulham looked comfortable for the first hour.
But then Chelsea moved through the gears and were rewarded with two goals in two minutes with Didier Drogba notching the equalizer before the pressure forced defender Chris Smalling to concede an own goal.
It was a cruel blow for Fulham who defended bravely until the Blues’ onslaught began to take its toll.
Chelsea’s unconvincing performance, which was one dimensional and lacked penetration, will have given their title rivals further encouragement that the championship race is far from over.

Tottenham vs West Ham Highlights: EPL(28.12.2009)
Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric scored on his return to the starting XI to secure victory against West Ham at White Hart Lane.
Modric, with only two substitute appearances under his belt since fracturing a fibula in August, struck 11 minutes into the match as he turned home Aaron Lennon’s cross, with Scott Parker then limping off for the visitors.
To make matters worse, former Hammers striker Jermain Defoe added a second in the final minutes.
While Gianfranco Zola’s men failed to earn back-to-back wins to boost their survival hopes, Spurs moved back into the top four and will be boosted by Modric’s return to full fitness.

Blackburn vs Sunderland Highlights: EPL (28.12.2009)
Former Black Cat El-Hadji Diouf came off the bench to salvage a point for Blackburn at Ewood Park but the home side were inches away from claiming all three points.
Darren Bent’s second half double looked likely to earn Steve Bruce’s men a rare victory but Rovers clawed back first through Morten Gamst Pedersen then Diouf.
Then in a grandstand finish which bore little resemblance to the dismal fare on offer in the first period, Marton Fulop brilliantly parried a superb header from Nikola Kalinic before Chris Samba poked the rebound wide.
The bare statistics will point to Rovers extending their win less run to eight games, while Bruce’s injury-hit Sunderland just have one win from 11.

West Ham United vs Chelsea Highlights
Frank Lampard’s penalty rescued a point for Chelsea at West Ham as the Premier League leaders missed the chance to move six points clear at the top. With Manchester United having lost 3-0 at Fulham on Saturday, Chelsea could have opened up a significant gap over the champions with a win at Upton Park.
However, Alessandro Diamanti scored from the spot-kick shortly before half-time to give West Ham the lead after Ashley Cole had brought down Jack Collison. But Chelsea equalized in somewhat dramatic manner just after the hour mark.
Matthew Upson looked to have won the ball but was ruled to have brought down Daniel Sturridge. Upson was booked for his protests before Lampard stepped up to score from the spot.
However, the referee spotted several players encroaching and made Lampard take it again, and then once again for good measure after yet more encroachment.
