On a derby day none more dramatic Michael Owen converted himself into a Manchester United favorite and unlikely hero with an injury-time goal that meant his team beat Manchester City 4-3. Darren Fletcher and Craig Bellamy grabbed two goals each in a truly, truly classic encounter which promisedto live up to all the hype created before the fixture. But, Sir Alex had the final laugh as England’s fourth highest scorer strode onto Ryan Giggs’ precise pass, looked up and calmly found the bottom right corner.
