West Bromwich vs Manchester United Highlights: EPL Highlights
Manchester United stopper Edwin van der Sar and his defenders create Premier League history as Sir Alex Ferguson’s side crushed 10-man West Brom 5-0 at The Hawthorns to move three points clear at the top of the table.
The 38-year-old surpassed Chelsea goalkeper Petr Cech’s 2004-2005 record of 925 minutes without conceding a goal and United also set a new record of 11 successive clean sheets, breaking the Chelsea’s record of four years ago.
First half goals from Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez – after a Scott Carson blunder – effectively ended the game as a meaningful contest.
But Albion were also handicapped by the harsh sending-off of left-back and current skipper Paul Robinson – the ninth red card of his career – five minutes before the interval for a challenge on United midfielder Ji-Sung Park.
Nemanja Vidic and Cristiano Ronaldo (2) worsened things for the under-strength Baggies in the second period to earn the Red Devils a sixth successive league win.
This victory has increased the pressure on nearest challengers Liverpool ahead of their game with Wigan on Wednesday.

Chelsea vs Ipswich Town Highlights: FA Cup highlights
Chelsea earned a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup as Michael Ballack`s brace and a terrific 35-yard free-kick from Frank Lampard saw off Ipswich 3-1.
But the Blue’s again made hard work of overcoming lower-league opposition in a domestic cup competition.
Chelsea had already been sent out of the Carling Cup on penalties by Burnley and were taken to a replay in this competition by Coca-Cola League One side Southend.
It had looked like being an easy afternoon for the Blues against Championship side Ipswich when Ballack put dominant Chelsea in front in the 16th minute.
But their failure to defend at set-pieces cost them again when Alex Bruce levelled matters before the break. But Chelsea did score some for themselves, which eventually sealed the match.

West Bromwich vs Middlesbrough Highlights: EPL Highlights
Robert Koren inspirational brace helped West Brom move off the bottom of the Premier League with a 3-0 win and drag Middlesbrough further into the relegation mire.
The Slovenian international set up one goal for debutant Marc-Antoine Fortune and scored another himself after Chris Brunt had made an early breakthrough.
It enabled Albion to complete their first ever Premier League double after a 1-0 win at the Riverside Stadium earlier in the season and means Boro have now gone 10 league games without a win.
It might have been a different story if Boro striker Afonso Alves squandered four good opportunities.
But Albion also posed a constant threat and on loan Arsenal striker Jay Simpson again impressed with his pace, control and work-rate.

Sunderland vs Aston Villa Highlights: EPL Highlights
Gareth Barry ensured that 10-man Aston Villa cemented their place in the top four after a controversial 2-1 victory over Sunderland.
Villa lost England international Ashley Young in the 72nd minute for an ugly lunge at Dean Whitehead, but went on to snatch victory with a controversial late penalty after Paul McShane’s return from his loan spell at Hull ended in misery.
Referee Mike Dean awarded an 80th-minute spot-kick for the substitute’s challenge on Gabriel Agbonlahor and Barry gleefully blasted the ball into top end of the net.
Danny Collins had headed the Black Cats into an 11th-minute lead, but James Milner, who scored for former club Newcastle on his last visit to the Stadium of Light, fired home an equaliser on the hour amid appeals for handball.
