Real Madrid cruised to victory over 10-man BATE Borisov on Wednesday night in a Champions League Group H game that was lot more easier for the Spanish champions than the 2-0 scoreline suggested.

Goals from Sergio Ramos and Ruud van Nistelrooy had put Madrid firmly in control of the tie before BATE’s Anri Khagush was dismissed to make their uphill task all-but impossible.
