Zenit St petersburg became only the second Russian club in the history to win an European Cup when they sealed victory against Rangers at City of Manchester stadium. Goals from Igor Denisov and Konstantin Zyrianov spoiled the party for Rangers who were hoping for first European glory in 36 years and also a historic quadruple. Now they will have to concentrate on winning a domestic treble.
