Of what could be the last match of Sven-Goran Eriksson’s at Man City. He was handed a humiliating farewell as his 10-man side lost 8-1 at Middlesbrough. Alves scored his first hat trick for the Boros, Downing scored two and Adam Johnson, Rochemback and Aliadiere scored one each.
